Monday night we will have the draw for the 2nd Round of this seasons FA Cup. Having come back from 2-0 down at half time to level up with Bury 2-2 on Saturday the Dons are still alive in the cup and will hopefully avoid a draw with the Franchise scum from MK, but of course this depends on us making it past Bury in the replay.
We will update here with the details of the 2nd round draw as it's made shortly after 7pm on Monday night. Former merseyside players Jim Beglin and Graeme Sharp will be on hand to draw the ties out of the 'hat'. Afc Wimbledon (Bury too I guess) have been allocated ball number 20.
Second Round Draw
Westfields or Curzon Ashton v Bury or AFC Wimbledon
Chesterfield v Wycombe Wanderers
Millwall v Braintree Town
Macclesfield Town v Oxford United
Bolton Wanderers v Sheffield United
Blackpool v Gillingham or Brackley Town
Whitehawk or Stourbridge v Northampton Town
Boreham Wood or Notts County v Peterborough United
Cambridge Utd or Dover v Coventry City or Morecambe
Port Vale v Hartlepool United
Bristol Rovers or Crawley Town v Barrow or Taunton Town
Woking v Accrington Stanley
Lincoln City v Oldham Athletic
Luton Town v Yeovil Town or Solihull Moors
Sutton United v Cheltenham Town or Crewe Alexandra
Eastleigh or Swindon Town v Halifax Town or Dag and Red
Shrewsbury Town v Southport or Fleetwood
Charlton Athletic v MK Franchise Scum
Plymouth Argyle v Newport County or Alfreton Town
Carlisle United v Maidstone United or Rochdale
Ties to be played over the weekend of 2-5 December.
Reaction;
So if we manage to see of Bury in the replay next week the Dons will be away to non league Westfields or Curzon Ashton. If it's Westfields then they are the lowest ranked team in the competition and there might be interest from TV but they will probably look at the Bolton Wanderers tie.
