KEMPTON PARK RACES WEDNESDAY 5th AUGUST 2015

It's been a while but we're back again...

Good evening all ... A bit of a break while we followed events at Galway and Goodwood but normal service is resumed now and we're back under the lights at Kempton Park.

Hope you enjoying your summer and that it gets warmer again soon, we did well in the last meeting before the short break and go into this one ahead still for the year with a profit of +17.97 points to a level stake at SP.

If we can keep in front for the whole year that's impressive enough for me whatever the final figure. Anyway lets crack on with tonight and target this winning line once more....

We've a 7 race card tonight with just the 4 handicaps so compared to most nights it's a light lunch to feast on tonight, we'll be racing under the lights from 6.10pm with a 3yo Handicap over 7 furlongs.

Here we go with our selections for tonight's handicaps;

18:10 - 7f Handicap (3yo)
First race and an 11 runner affair to begin with, it's likely that Marco Botti's inmate SCIUSTREE will be popular so we'll oppose that one here. [finished 7th 4/1 good lay]

Wide open affair on paper and we'll take a punt on SHOWTIME BLUES with Neil Callen over for a short time an added bonus. [2nd 7/1, a win on the place market at least]

19:40 -
1m 3f Handicap (London Middle Distance Series Qualifier)
Just the 5 declared here, and top weight DARK WAVE seems to be the most reliable in handicap given the others are stepping up from Maiden wins. [4th 10/1]

20:40 - 1m Handicap (London Mile Series Qualifier)
Fortunately the Mile Series tends to be better supported and we've 10 declared here. WINDY CITI has been in good order this year and a nice couple of months break might help bring back his winning ways. [WON 8/1 Nice]

21:10 - 1m 4f Handicap
We conclude tonight with a 14 runner mile and half event, the likes of Charlies Mate and Shirataki but the former is far too short for one who doesn't win his fair share.

NOBLE MASTER is worth a win/place risk at 16/1 if he can stay this trip. [9th 25/1]

A good winner from our 4 selections tonight sees our profits rise by 5 points on Wednesday night, we currently holding onto a nice profit for the year
up [+22.97] points.

The sun goes down ... thankfully the lights are on.
