KEMPTON PARK RACES WEDNESDAY 19th AUGUST 2015

Good evening all ... We are having a good spell this summer and the another winning night last Wednesday takes us onto a profit figure of
+30.97 for our activities here at Kempton Park, 8 months in will be trying hard to keep it going

If we can keep in front for the whole year that'll be impressive enough for me whatever the final figure. Anyway lets crack on with tonight and target a few more winners across this line once again....

A link to tonight's race card can be found here;

We've a 6 race card tonight with 4 handicaps which will give us plenty to enjoy during the evening. Racing starts at 6:40pm with a 7f maiden event for 2yo's, our first handicap is race three which is off at 7:40pm.

Here we go with our selections for tonight's handicaps;

19:40 - 7f Fillies Handicap

Our first handicap on the polytrack tonight sees the girls line up over 7f, should be a very competitive affair even with just the 8 runners declared.

Richard Hannon runs ABAQ who had a couple of runs at two, and could be thrown in with any amount of improvement at three. Looks the likely fav so we'll go elsewhere for some value. HOLLIE POINT is very consistent for Godolphin and shouldn't be very far away tonight, but we will take a chance on the bottom one LADY ESTRELLA [5th 9/2] who gets lumps of weight and won at Wolves last week so comes here fit and in good hearth.

20:10 - 1m Handicap (London Mile Series Qualifier)

Next up another in the London Mile series, always a well supported event and tonight no exception as 14 line up.

Godolphin again look to head the market with their pair of runners HOLIDAY MAGIC and THINK AGAIN, could well win but are very high in the weights and short priced so we'll look elsewhere again.

PERIL seeking a hat-trick steps up in trip but we'll take SPIRIT RAISER [NAP] against them all a course and distance winner of another in this series back in June she can use that advantage to come home again. [WON 7/2]

20:40 - 2m Handicap
Nice to see a stayers event on the card for the older horses, not the biggest of fields however still very competitive

A field of 8 line up and we hope we can keep it at 8 for place purposes, SABORIDO has won 11 times and placed a further 13 in his career, priced about 10/1 would be a good shout for a strong win/place bet. [5th 6/1]

21:10 - 6f Handicap (3yo)
The finale for Wednesday is a nice 6f sprint for 3yo's, again we've the dead 8 declared, nothing leaps out as being in good form the fly in the ointment could be the top one TRIKASANA who has been off for 203 days and only had the 3 runs so far, if coming back for late campaign might be able to see these off with jockey Megan Nicholls taking a handy 7lb off. [4th 9/2]

Of the rest MAJOR VALENTINE could see some benefit of a 40 day break and at 12/1 could be place value, no appeal amongst the remainder some of who could perhaps do with a break themselves. [WON 8/1]

Another excellent Wednesday night for us, two winners, both supported, and gives us a nice profit on the evening of +8.5 points to SP.

This means we now carry forward a profit for the year up +39.47 points to date.

The sun goes down ... thankfully the lights are on.
