Another sad day for us on Wednesday with all selections beaten although a couple of places, but it's not been good all this week and very frustrating given previous years.
But we must move on to our fourth day which will begin in the afternoon at 2:00pm with a 2m 6f Beginners Chase. The feature race today, and indeed for the week, is the Grade A Galway Hurdle [4:55] over a two mile, and is worth over 177,000 euro's to the winner.
As mentioned on day one our recent years have focused on the horses from trainer Dermot Weld and we will continue to track his progress this week though we might also offer one or two other selections in particular the feature races if no Weld runner is declared. And NEW for this season we intend to follow the success of JP O'Brien who often has a nice priced winner and seems to have taken well to training and has the ability to be as good as his father in time.
