Good evening all ... despite another small loss at the last meeting we are moving towards Autumn still ahead with a profit figure of +14.72. Though the flat season will end in a month the AW will kick on to the end of the year here at Kempton Park, and we seek to keep ourselves in front for the year and then start again in January.
If we can keep in front for the whole year that'll be impressive enough for me whatever the final figure. Anyway lets crack on with tonight and target a few more winners across this line once again....

Tonight is a 8 race card with only 3 handicaps to ponder over. Racing commences here at 17:45 with a 5f Nursery Handicap event
The going is Standard to Slow, and while there is no rain currently forecast it'll be colder than usual so wrap up.
Here we go with our selections for tonight's handicaps;
17:45 - 5f Nursery Handicap (2yo)
Opening event is a 2yo Nursery, no real exceptional form on offer as you'd expect for a low grade event, but we'll take a chance on two against the field with TESSELLATE [6th 3/1] who ran close in similar event at Chelmsford last time and BALTIC HISTOIRE [N/R] from Jamie Osborne yard who should show better now in a handicap than her three maiden events.
18:15 - 5f Handicap
Bit more form on offer for this sprint event, though none are what you could call prolific, so again we chance a couple of decent odds selections against the field with CIARA'S COOKIE [7th 33/1] a winner around Brighton and Yarmouth off higher marks, needs to take to the surface but is priced accordingly at about 16/1.
Our other selection is FAIRY MIST [8th 20/1] who again has done a lot of racing at the Sussex coast and Lingfield so this is a nice change of scenery and is equally about 16/1 for tonight.
20:15 - 7f Fillies Handicap
A 12 runner fillies event is our final handicap for the evening, and we fancy the chances of MILADY [4th 11/4] who just failed last time at Chelmsford and the extra furlong should help against these.
Staked -- 5 points
Returns -- None
Not the best of evenings a wipe out dropping our profit to only 9.72 points.
We'll return here next week on Wednesday 21st October.
