AFC WIMBLEDON v DONCASTER ROVERS -- LEAGUE ONE MONDAY 2nd APRIL

Update -- Match has been called off just after 11am Monday.

Off the back of a terrible 0-1 reverse to Fleetwood Town on Friday we travel up to Doncaster to play mid-table Rovers who themselves beat Blackpool Town 2-1. It's beginning to look bad, thought we were making moves away from the drop zone and now we are only one place above Oldham and two points better off. Even the scummy franchise outfit have moved above us and that really is a bitter pill. Three points are urgently needed, maybe being on the road will help us, the addition of Lloyd Sam might help too, anything since the Harry Forrester experiment (on loan from Glasgow Rangers) hasn't worked out and I can't see how he will continue for us next season.

FORM GUIDE
(Last 6 league matches, starting with the most recent)
AFC Wimbledon -- LLDWLD
Doncaster Rovers -- WWDLWL

LAST TIME OUT
AFC Wimbledon 0   Fleetwood Town 1
Blackpool 1   Doncaster Rovers 2

Our narrow defeat last weekend against a top of the table team in Shrewsbury might have been viewed as decent however since we are now only two points off the bottom four in 19th place (42 pts) so need some points from the Easter campaign, failed miserably against Fleetwood on Friday, and now need something from this afternoon or we will almost certainly be in the bottom four and next weekend would face Scunthorpe so this begins to look like a must win.

Doncaster claimed their first away win since December as Tommy Rowe's brace secured victory over Blackpool (2-1) at Bloomfield Road and sitting neatly in mid-table 13th place but will be dangerous with potent goal scorer James Coppinger almost certain to score against us again

Updates will be published with team news and more news as and when it comes through.
