PONTEFRACT SEASON 2014
[Sunday 27th July]
The tenth meeting of the season from Pontefract, with an excellent start to the season we've had a recent barren spell by our standards yet even so we're still in front albeit just the +7 points for the season based on a level stake at SP.
Do feel a bumper Sunday coming on and although I will be away visiting the Isle of Man as well as getting ready for Goodwood and Galway meetings later.
Will try and update while I am away, if that's not possible it'll have to be a case of wait and see. It's not after timing as the criteria for the day is established and won't change hence our selections will be pre-determined too.
Racing gets under way with a 7 race card on Sunday at 2.20pm;
2.20 DARK RECKONING [WON 2/1], DOPPLER EFFECT [3rd 13/2]
2.55 MEN DON'T CRY [4th 3/1], FLYING CAPE [3rd 7/2]
3.30 SKY KHAN [2nd 11/2], SPANISH PLUME [11th 15/2]
4.05 TENOR [2nd 15/2], CUSTOM CUT [WON 9/2]
4.40 THATCHERITE [6th 14/1], RUBYS DAY [4th 10/1]
5.10 ENDLESS SEAS [6th 25/1], HANNO [2nd 10/11]
5.40 PABUSAR [2nd 5/2], MAJESTIC MANANNAN [WON 7/2]
Just back from a well earned break to the Isle of Man, so sorry for delay to the results. Almost a break even day actually a small loss of -1 point. But as Majestic Manannan was backed at 20/1 down to 7/2 in reality the profit was very sufficient for us personally, that said we do results to SP so we do currently stand at +6 points for the season.
Next race meeting is on Wednesday 6th August.
