PONTEFRACT SEASON 2014
[Friday 18th July]
The ninth meeting from Pontefract, and it's another evening meeting ... we started off things really well peaked at +31 points profit but couple of poor results means we are down to +9 after 8 meetings. Still the early events proved it's still viable and we carry on into the second half of the season.
Tonight we begin at 6.30pm with a maiden contest for 2yo's.
6.30 -- RED HARRY [5th 25/1], STOLEN STORY [7th 4/1]
7.00 -- DARK AMBER [3rd 10/3], SOME SITE [4th 6/4]
7.30 -- ADAMS ALE [6th 4/1], JACK LUEY [N/R]
8.00 -- MAYFIELD BOY [2nd 7/2], IMSHIVALLA [WON 6/1] Forecast paid £26.16
8.35 -- LADY BUBBLES [N/R], BUY OUT BOY [8th 16/1]
9.05 -- LUCKY LODGE [4th 17/2], BAINNE [N/R]
Sadly only the one success with Imshivalla but not enough to prevent another losing day. Small loss of 2 points today and not wanting to get too down but it's becoming a sequence and we want to get back to winners soon.
Overall still in profit +7 Points after nine meetings.
Let's hope for some good fortune as we enter a busy few weeks with Goodwood and Galway also coming up. Am away for the next meeting but will still post results when I get back since the "method" is already known the selections will not be affected by my absense.
The next meeting will be held on Sunday 27th July.
