ANOTHER WEEKEND WITH NO GAME ... IS IT REALLY THAT COLD OUT?

GUESS IT MUST BE AROUND LONDON AS SO MANY GAMES OFF (NOT JUST WIMBLEDON BUT BRENTFORD, BARNET, C PALACE, L ORIENT, DAGENHAM) I KNOW UNDER-SOIL HEATING ISN'T COST EFFECTIVE FOR THESE SMALL CLUBS BUT EVEN WIMBLEDON MANAGED TO GET THE PITCH COVERED SO SURELY A HOT AIR BLOWER SIMILAR TO THOSE USED FOR HOT AIR BALLOONS WOULD HAVE HELPED KEEP THE GAME ON AND IMPORTANT REVENUE'S ON A SATURDAY. NO DOUBT MOST OF THESE GAMES WILL BE REARRANGED FOR A TUES OR WED WHICH WOULD PROBABLY SEE A LOT FEWER BUMS ON SEATS AND THE RELATED TURNOVER IN THE BARS ETC.

AM FRUSTRATED COS I REALLY FANCIED THE DONS FOR A WIN TODAY AGAINST BRADFORD, NOW WE ARE THREE WEEKENDS WITHOUT ANY POINTS ON THE BOARD AND THE LOANEES MIGHT NOT BE HERE NEXT MONTH (SURE SEEMS THAT JASON EUELL WILL NOT BE SEEN BACK WHAT A LET DOWN THAT WAS FOR ALL CONCERNED).

OH WELL LOOKS LIKE THE RUGBY WILL BE ON DESPITE HEAVY SNOW IN ITALY, WILL HAVE TO SIT BACK AND WATCH SOME OF THAT FROM THE COMFORT OF HOME.

HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND ALL
