PONTEFRACT RACES -- SYSTEM TEST DAY 4 -- TUESDAY EVENING 21st MAY

TUESDAY 21st MAY [EVENING MEETING]


It's the 4th Event of the 2013 season and so far so good really. A slight change now as we have our first evening race meeting here, but same rules as before stalls 1 and 2 in the 6 race card due to start at 6.20pm.

6.20 -- SARDANAPALUS [3rd 7/2], THRUST CONTROL [11th 11/2].

6.50 -- GETABUZZ [2nd 17/2], ARIZONA JOHN [WON 11/4].

7.20 -- INTENSE FEELING [4th 11/1], MALACHIM MIST [2nd 1/2].

7.50 -- MISSION APPROVED [4th 8/11], STEPPING AHEAD [WON 5/1].

8.20 -- ELIZABETH COFFEE [10th 25/1], MAGIKA [3rd 5/2].

8.50 -- SECRET EMPRESS [4th 25/1], DUKE COSIMO [WON 1/5F].

Results show a small loss for this meeting but three winners even if one long odds on they all count. So far still working out and we go onto the next meeting which is expected to be held on Friday evening 7th June.

3rd meeting of 2013 where we continue to study the effect or results horses drawn in stalls 1 and 2 here. 

7 races, we start at 2.20

4.30 -- GREY BLUE [7th 12/1] / ESTEAMING [5th 9/1]

5.00 -- FLIGHTY CLARETS [2nd 20/1] / DARK OPAL [NR]

5.35 -- SPECIAL MIX [WON 10/1] / GOLD SHOW [4th 7/4]

Another successful afternoon here ... and very close to getting the placepot up again which paid nearly £200 also shows that regardless of price (66/1 shot in race 2 and nice forecast there even with the odds on fav going in) we can select and back without fear.

4.40 -- SHADOWTIME [2nd 17/2] / GREEN HOWARD [4th 4/1]

Plenty of places today with the system, the Betfair place markets would have been hammered. Sadly just the (one) winner so far but clearly it's still working and worth looking at next time at least. 

We would also have had the place pot up too £45.20 to 8 lines. (£64 staked, £361.60 returns).
