AFC WIMBLEDON v CHARLTON ATHLETIC -- LEAGUE ONE SATURDAY 3rd MARCH

Assuming that the snow doesn't put paid to this weekend's football will be off to watch the Dons in this London derby which has a little extra fizz as ex MK Scum manager Karl Robinson is the boss of today's opponents. Charlton fell to the Dons in this seasons FA Cup but this is the League now and we remain desperate for the 3 points today to help with our fight to stay in League One for another season prior to the move into New Plough Lane.

GAME OFF, FROZEN PITCH

FORM GUIDE
(Last 6 matches in their respective leagues, starting with most recent)
AFC Wimbledon -- LDWLLL

Charlton Athletic -- LWDDLW

LAST TIME OUT

AFC Wimbledon 0 Blackburn Rovers 3

Charlton Athletic 0  Shrewsbury 2

Although we got beaten by the league leaders Blackburn in midweek we have done better against the teams in the top half of the table compared to those around us at the bottom end. Alas we are still in 18th place in the table on 38 points, only 2 points above the drop zone. Charlton are currently 7th on 51 points and should be looking to move into a play off place this season. They should also be buoyant by the news that their club has recently agreed a take over and should give them the means to push on whatever else happens this season. Interesting that despite the gap in the table recent form is not that different and the bookies are unable to split them.

Updates will be published with team news and more news as and when it comes through.
