KEMPTON PARK RACES WEDNESDAY 11th MARCH 2015

Had a rare losing week last Wednesday but never fear we still showing a very healthy position of +57.22 to our 1pt level stake, it's performance is even better in conjunction with Betfair (up over +100 pts) and it's place markets but results will continue to be expressed by SP and to a level unit stake.

Including this Wednesday evening meeting in amongst a busy week due to Cheltenham but the Flat Season will soon be upon us. Simple card this week with 5 handicaps to enjoy
and we'll be getting underway at 5.50pm.

So onwards with our selections for tonight;

17:50 - 1m 4f Handicap -- The imaginatively entitled "Getting out stakes at Cheltenham", I'll be surprised if anyone gets to Kempton from Gloucester in time for this.

Could be a good time for LILY EDGE (25/1) to score again, back down the weights to below her last winning mark, has won here and at Lingfield and is joined by Hayley Turner. [11th 25/1].

18:20 - 1m Handicap (London Mile Qualifier) -- Only the 7 declared for this latest round of Qualifiers, Embankment has been frustrating for us and is now discarded (so probably wins now) and instead we side with FOOTSTEPSINTHERAIN (9/2) who has run consistently around here lately and deserves to get his head in front now after a break. [3rd 3/1].

19:20 - 7f Fillies Handicap -- Once again just the 7 ladies are declared for this contest, should still be a cracking race where a case could be made for all of them.

POETIC CHOICE (25/1) is our pick has a decent level of form and should go well against her own gender assuming that she can get a decent break at the start, is drawn well in stall 3 has a chance.  [6th 25/1].

19:50 - 6f Handicap -- The small fields are not helped by the Godolphin hotpot here as only 5 line up tonight for this contest in which WANTING will be a warm order.

Looking elsewhere for an option and STATE OF THE UNION (11/2) is a winner here and has other places from his five starts so is preferred to Red Stripes despite finishing behind that one last time out. [3rd 5/1].

20:20 - 6f Handicap -- A decent field for tonight's finale headed by Kieren Fallon aboard HEAD SPACE for the first time, bit too short in the market for us so we'll try something else. The interesting one for us is JOLLY RED JEANZ (12/1) who has a nice low weight, and a record of 3 wins and a further 7 places from only 18 starts, good record around here too along with WELEASE BWIAN (12/1) who would also be of interest if the odds are strong enough to allow us to take the pair against the field (if over 12/1)
[8th 10/1 & 9th 10/1 respectively].

Sadly another 6 point losing evening but fear not there is life in the old dog yet. Running total down to +51.22pts

Don't forget our Cheltenham blog is also updated all week.
