Our annual trip to Ireland for the Dermot Weld benefit meeting otherwise known as the Galway Festival. 

We will be following the progress of Mr Weld's horses all week and expect most of them to be well supported even so we've made a profit on each year we've followed him so I trust this year will prove to be just as fruitful. 

The meeting kicks off at 5.10pm tonight, here's what the maestro has in store for us on Day 1.

20:15 -- 2m - Marty's Magic (IRE) 2nd 5/4

Day 1 ends -1.725 to level stakes SP.

Good start to the meeting but fell away soon after, never mind there is always tomorrow. 

We're here all week lets hope the money lasts as long as the Guinness
