It's been a wonderful five years together, but sadly all things come to an end. It's time to let my faithful old Vectra go and I will miss her. (not the times when it wouldn't start and the alarm would sound, nor the dodgy drivers window or misted up windscreen)
Off to the great scrap heap in the sky. Maybe replaced by something nice later in the year, but as a weekday commuter and holder of an Oyster season ticket it's not something I need to rush into. Plus it'd been used to store golf clubs and the like but since I don't play and have given the clubs away there's no need for the extra 4 wheeled storage space.
Besides I only did on average 500 miles over the past 2 years so I doubt I'll miss having the old thing and I rarely venture out much because as you all know I have no life ...
Having said that I will miss being able to jump in and just go for a ride, maybe I will look for something cheaper and more suitable later in the year.
