A nice profit was had at the previous meeting here so with only a few meetings left of the 2013 season we aim to finish on a high. 

Racing on Sunday afternoon starts at 2.15, we'll have details here on the Friday evening ready for the weekend.

Great start to the afternoon with nice priced winner (took 12/1) and a place too in the opener. 

Hopefully a few more winners to come from that lot and we're seeing out the season really well.

Another meeting at the West Yorkshire venue for us this week and once more following the fates of the low drawn horses in stalls 1 and 2. So far results have been consistent but not spectacular, that said it's just a system following recent trends. 

Here's how we look for Wednesday afternoon;

2.30 -- PADDY'S ROCK 6th [25/1], ABBEY VILLAGE [7th 15/2]

3.00 -- LEITRIM PASS [3rd 4/5], CORREGGIO [WON 12/1]


3.30 -- STORMY WEATHER [7th 20/1], BEAUFORT TWELVE [3rd 3/1]


4.00 -- CHOSEN ONE [WON 8/1], PLANETEX [4th 2/1]


4.30 -- JUNKET [2nd 11/2], PARAMOUR [8th 10/3]

5.00 -- CARA GINA [6th 11/2], MILLKWOOD [5th 8/1]

Already guaranteed a decent profit for today with couple of nice winners shame the placepot went begging by the 2nd race but lets not be greedy. 

At least 8 points to the good so far to a level SP return.

Going into the final day seeking a winner or two as we're currently on -5.72 points for the week. 

The trainer only has 3 entries for the final day and hopefully one winner will be enough. 

Have to say I don't think this has been a Classic festival and not much to shout about on flat or over the sticks.

Into the final stretch for the 2013 Galway festival, doesn't seem to have had the big names of recent years but there's still plenty of racing to come. 

Saturday has an 8 race card kicking off at 2pm.

Made a profit today albeit only a small one. Sunday card is updated and hopefully we can get out of this. Has been the first year for a while that this hasn't shown a profit overall but we have Sunday to see if we can get back.

3 winners for Dermot Weld certainly helped us on Thursday and now we are only -2.25 behind. Had you backed these at their available prices we'd be ahead but for the purpose of record keeping here we return to SP. 

Hopefully some of you got on Brown Panther too.

Bf value of -6.75 points from close of play Wed. Not a great start but still recoverable. Again we have 5 selections for today and all in with good chances.

A profit today of +4.5 points to SP doesn't quite wipe out the loses though it does when you take the actual prices I got today (4/1 on both last two). Any we now have a small loss of -2.25  to take on to Friday. 

1 Selection at Goodwood for today too , BROWN PANTHER in the 3.15 Goodwood Cup. 8/1 or better is an EW steal. WON 13/2

A cracking win when you consider that it was 10/1 this morning. Sadly not included in the overall P/L for this week but nice to get well ahead today.
