BACK AND LAY DAY 31 -- TUESDAY 19th APRIL 2011
TUESDAY
NAP
PRINCE FREDDIE [2.40 PONTEFRACT]
Was ahead of another opponent here (BESTWECAN) recently at Beverley and should confirm those positions again. Should make a bold bid to go one better here today on similar going over a trip that should suit.
LAY
MAJURO [4.30 SOUTHWELL]
Wins come in lower classes and top weighted in handicap should put a stop to another success. Plus his only win here was 3 years ago over a mile (7f today) so while he should run well and place on the cards, others are preferred in the handicap.
GOOD LUCK TODAY

BACK AND LAY DAY 30 -- THURSDAY 14th APRIL 2011
THURSDAY
NAP
AIR TRAFFIC [2.25 NEWMARKET]
Massively competitive race this Wood Ditton (as always) will produce loads of winners in time and Henry Cecil's Air Traffic is well bred and has all the fancy entries it's easy to take his word that he's well fancied this year.
LAY
TOGETHER [3.00 NEWMARKET]
While I do respect horses that O'Brien sends across this one has been beaten regularly and so far this season several of his have needed their first outing. So on the basis that it's too short in the market and has loads of decent challenges so I'll lay it.
GOOD LUCK

BACK AND LAY DAY 29 -- TUESDAY 12th APRIL 2011
TUESDAY
NAP
PRAXIOS [4.20 WOLVES]
Half brother to Prevsis should find this step up in trip to his liking and having finished runner up here before little issues regarding the surface.
LAY
I CONFESS [2.50 WOLVES]
Very tricky small seller where every runner appears to have something over the other and on that basis intend opposing a short priced I CONFESS who will have a lot to do to stop the 3yo CAPTAIN LOUI from turning him over at these weights.
GOOD LUCK

BACK AND LAY DAY 28 -- MONDAY 11th APRIL 2011
MONDAY
OFF TO WINDSOR FOR THE EVENING
NAP
LORD OF THE SHADOWS [5.30 WINDSOR]
Ran green on debut just run out of it in the end, deserves to improve for that experience and strongly fancied here, Richard Hughes taking the ride.
Does this mean that the highly publicised announcement that Richard Hannon planned to boycott the meeting because of prize money has been resolved?
LAY
IZZI TOP [6.35 WINDSOR]
Paper favourite on the back of one 2yo run at Doncaster which was good form but anything can happen in the meantime and a few of Gosden's have seemed to need a run. Combination of track, layoff, form and price of 2/1 too short.
GOOD LUCK

BACK AND LAY DAY 26 -- MONDAY 4th APRIL 2011
MONDAY -- WINDSOR
NAP
CAPTAIN SHARPE [3.10 WINDSOR]
HAS A LOT IN HIS FAV, RECENT RUN A PLUS AND SMALL FIELD IDEAL. LOOKS BEST OPTION AT THE WEIGHTS IN THIS CLAIMER
LAY
KINGSDINE [3.40 WINDSOR]
Was running well up to middle of last year, not been since for a while which is unusual given his form and 10lb more on his back now. Lay given likely need for a run first then get on again for the rest of the campaign.
GOOD LUCK
