BACK AND LAY DAY 25 -- SUNDAY 27th MARCH 2011

SUNDAY
Couple of winners for us yesterday, 100/30 and 2/1 shame the second one was the lay but we still show a profit on the day and that's the main thing here.

Onto Sunday now then I am away in Dublin for a week...

NAP
CHOUMAKER [3.25 WINCANTON]

David Pipe saddles the fav in CHOUMAKER [NAP] who has a win here on his latest start and 4 wins from his last 6 runs. The drop back a couple of furlongs shouldn't be a problem and all points to another win.

LAY
THAT'LL DO [3.55 WINCANTON]
7 runners once more, no EW options really today here, THAT'LL DO will no doubt be enough for a lot of casual punters but the use of a 10lb claimer is a big off putting signal to me and I'll lay that instead with PAINT THE CLOUDS / FIRE AND RAIN running for me instead.

GOOD LUCK

BACK AND LAY DAY 24 -- SATURDAY 26th MARCH 2011

SATURDAY

NAP

BEAUBRAV [4.45 LINGFIELD]
Has really good form on the surface and improved for the step up from 1m 2f.

Sometimes has trouble at the start, but even then won going away so looks the best option in a decent field.

LAY
KATMAI RIVER [3.35 KEMPTON PARK]

Won at Wolves and up 4lb, combination of surface, track and weight make this a lay today here.

GOOD LUCK

APOLOGIES

HI

HAD A GREAT DAY DOWN AT CHELTENHAM ON FRIDAY, WELL DONE TO ALL INVOLVED AND SUPERB WIN FOR SAM ON LONG RUN

NOT BEEN ABLE TO UPDATE SINCE THURSDAY, FEW PROBLEMS AT HOME AND IT'S VERY LIKELY THAT WE'LL REMAIN OFF TILL THE WEEKEND.

ENJOY YOUR WEEK THOUGH

Thursday 17 March 2011

Were you watching ...

Hope you were on our winner today, even though Big Bucks scooted in to foil our lay at 10/11F little damage inflicted with AP McCoy landing the Ryanair Chase at 6/1.

Update for Friday here soon

Such a good day today, can't wait for the Gold Cup now.

BACK AND LAY DAY 23 -- THURSDAY 17th MARCH 2011

SORRY MISSED WEDNESDAYS UPDATE
BUT JUST AS WELL AS IT WAS AN AWFUL DAY HERE.

NEVER MIND, WITH FRIDAY APPROACHING IT'S THE STAYERS HURDLE ON THURSDAY (NO I REFUSE TO CALL IT THE WORLD HURDLE, WHAT'S THAT ABOUT).

THURSDAY

NAP
ALBERTAS RUN [2.40 CHELTENHAM]

Comes alive at this time of year, and last years winner still has a fair bit going for him with AP McCoy up.

With their yard in top form too have a bit EW on QUEIROS BLEU in the 2.05 at 28/1 or higher.

LAY
BIG BUCKS [3.20 CHELTENHAM]

Ok it's a tall order but has to be beaten one day in this much like the mighty Baracouda before him I think there is enough in the challenge of MOURAD, GRANDS CRUS and others.

No French challenge this year either, the likes of Kasbah Bliss making more on the flat these days in the staying events worldwide (currently in Dubai for the world cup meeting).

GOOD LUCK

BACK AND LAY DAY 22 -- TUESDAY 15th MARCH 2011

TUESDAY

WELL MONDAY WENT WELL AND WE'VE GOT A FEW QUID ALREADY FOR THE WEEK AHEAD, HE'RE WE GO FOR TUESDAY ... HAVE A GREAT WEEK.

NAP
PEDDLERS CROSS [3.20 CHELTENHAM]
Unbeaten to date in 8 races and looks every inch a champion in the making having disposed of Binocular at Newcastle in the fighting fifth on route to this.

Has strong opposition again with Menorah and Hurricane Fly at the top of the market but I've been backing this for a while now and not seeing any reason to reject him now.

LAY
L'AMI [4.00 CHELTENHAM]
Talented chaser but not getting younger and while experienced over this unique course there are plenty of dangers with as much potential to rival him. Has to be a lay at 5/1 or less.

BACK AND LAY DAY 21 - MONDAY 14th MARCH 2011

MONDAY

NAP
REMEMBER NOW [4.10 STRATFORD]

Half brother to the reining champion hurdler Binocular and slowly get the hang of things over hurdles. Was pulled out of a recent race and should give AP McCoy a nice ride before all the serious action tomorrow (even if he's not going to follow up with Binocular now).

LAY
QUETZAL [2.30 PLUMPTON]

Making their debut over fences here so best watched esp as made 13/8F in a race that admittedly won't take much winning. Too short in the market for me and a lay on the basis that the experience will bring them on so expecting the trainer to have left something to work on back home.

GOOD LUCK THIS WEEK
BUSY ONE WITH CHELTENHAM TO ENJOY

BACK AND LAY DAY 19 - TUE 8th MAR 2011

DAY 19 TUESDAY

NAP
AZTEC TREASURE [4.00 EXETER]

Won readily last time out appeared to have plenty more if needed so with McCoy in good form as Cheltenham approaches this is expected to go in again here for his boss.

LAY
STOLEN THUNDER [4.30 EXETER]
Pulled up having won on first outing doesn't look great so early in a career, has to be opposed with other previous winners in the line up. Silver Accord the pick.

GOOD LUCK
DAISY

Tuesday 1 March 2011

Cracking results now, we're on fire....

THE NAP
-- KAHFRE WON 7/1

followed up by;
THE LAY
-- YORK GLORY BEATEN AT 1/2 !!

CAN'T WAIT FOR THE FULL TIME RETURN OF THE FLAT SEASON WHEN THE SERIOUS WAGERS GO DOWN, OK CHELTENHAM IS ON SOON BUT THAT AND AINTREE ASIDE THE FLAT GAME IS FAR SUPERIOR TO THE SLOW COACHES OVER JUMPS.

MORE WINNERS SOON
